Electa is a 38 mt very comfortable sloop, built in 1990 by CCYD for her first Japanese Owner and previously named Mariya Uno. In 1999 she was purchased by his second and last European Owner and then renamed Il Doge. Having undergone an extensive refit by Giorgetti & Magrini, she finally became Electa under the same Owner. Her naval architecture was developed by Ron Holland Design, while the interior design is a work of Tommaso Spadolini.

Electa can accommodate 8 guests in 4 ample and cosy cabins located aft. The foredeck provides generous space for the galley, the crew area and 2 crew cabins. In the same area, a large fridge allows a long stay at sea.

Electa has a record for sailing across the oceans and her Owner has carefully kept the vessel for the last 22 years, sailing from the top of the world to the equator. The boat has always been for private use only and run by the same Captain.

She is viewable in Genoa, her home port.

Alessandro Mazzoni began his career at a very young age in the early 1980s, working first in the Nautor OY yard and then later at the Alpa Yachts yard. In 1984, he and his lifelong friends and partners, Carlo Agliardi and Antonio Pozzi, founded Italyachting. He then acquired Fraser Yachts in 1993 which he turned into a large global brokerage brand it remains today. As a partner in Fraser Yachts, he managed the charter broker team in Europe and the US, opening new offices in London, Milan, Athens and Palma del Mallorca. He also acted as a Sale Broker, closing the company’s biggest sales in Europe. In 2012, after Fraser Yacht was sold to the Azimut Benetti Group, Alessandro founded Sos Yachting Italy. As its CEO, he developed its presence in France and Monaco, Croatia, Spain and Italy also. Alex has a huge love of classic and vintage yachts, making him a touchstone for all the leading Italian sector associations and clubs, not least Asdec and the Yacht Club de Monaco. His vast network of international relations and contacts are an invaluable strategic asset in achieving EYI’s results and development.
