Fort Lauderdale Managing Broker / Employing Broker

Blue Oceans Yachting, powered by Crew Unlimited, is in search of a Managing Broker to head up our New and Brokerage Yacht Sales Department based in our luxurious Las Olas Boulevard office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the Yachting Capital of the World.

We are looking for an “A student,” someone who dots the i's, crosses the t's, and takes great pride in closing deals bringing joy to yacht buyers and sellers.

To be eligible, you will have a Florida Yacht Ship and Brokerage License and you must have had it for at least 2 years. 

Ideally, you will also have management experience, as we have 11 junior Brokers that would rely on you for guidance, assistance, market intel, etc. 

You must be intimately familiar with the whole yacht purchase and sale process, from sourcing prospects with initial interest, to yacht selection or new construction guidance, negotiation, contracts, survey, sea trial, closing documentation, registration, and with training, the ability to pitch for charter and yacht management. 

Our future Managing Broker will have, on top of an incredible attention to detail:

- strong relationships with powerful clients, captains, and brokers

- strong computer skills as we do require CRM maintenance, WhatsApp Group Communication, Zoom meeting attendance, and Yacht Closer aptitude.

- charisma, zest for life, and true love of beautiful craftsmanship and the Yachting industry

- an established home base in the south of Florida

- minimum of 5 years’ success in selling luxury yachts

- long history of holding a position of responsibility

- reputation for truth and honesty

- excellent written communication skills

- and above all, grit!

What we offer is a 70/30 split for your listings or purchase deals and a 10% override of the deals your team produces, plus access to all the tools a proper brokerage provides to ensure success including YATCO, YachtWorld, IYBA Membership, and much more.
