2020 Cannes Yachting Festival Canceled
The 2020 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival has been cancelled, according to reports.
It is understood that organizer Reed Exposition is now reaching out to exhibitors to inform them of the cancellation.
The official cancellation of the show, which was due to take place from September 8-13, comes after organisers applied for special dispensation from the French government to hold the event.
On August 11, the French government announced a ban on more than 5,000 people gathering at an event until at least October 30 due to COVID-19. Days later, the UK government announced a two quarantine on arrivals from France due to a spike in coronavirus infection cases.
