Kicking Off Boat Show Season!

Even though many of us here in Florida consider boat show season kick-off the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show which starts October 30th, the season is already getting under way on the other side of the pond with the Cannes Yachting Festival (Sept. 9 – 14) and the Monaco Yacht Show (Sept. 24 – 27). Some of the yachts on display at these shows will be crossing the Atlantic to attend FLIBS if you’re not lucky enough to see them there!

The FYBA Seminar Committee has been putting together the program for the upcoming Yacht Sales & Law seminar on Oct. 1st. Just a few of the topics to be presented will be; EU/VAT tax issues, a New Construction Panel, Income Tax Planning for Brokers, and much more!! You are able to sign up for this seminar as well as the Charter Destination & Education seminar on Oct. 8th within this issue of eCompass.

I would also like to remind all members that you may update your contact information in the Member Area of the FYBA.ORG website. If you do change to a company not yet an FYBA member, please contact the FYBA staff.
