Seasoned Yacht Broker - Great Lakes

Schwartz & Co. Yacht Sales is a boutique international yacht sales organization located in the Great Lakes Region. We represent top yacht brands such as American Tug, Kadey-Krogen, Summit Motoryachts, and Van Der Heijden Yachts. We have established a reputation as a premier brokerage in the tug, trawler and luxury motor yacht segments.

Role Description

We are looking for seasoned yacht brokers to develop the Greater Detroit, West Michigan and Door County markets. Each of our Yacht Brokers are responsible for facilitating yacht sales transactions, conducting market research, building relationships with key influencers throughout their respective market, providing exceptional customer service, and managing prospect and client relationships on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Yachting knowledge & experience: Must have 10+ years of verifiable management, operation and/or ownership of vessel(s) greater than 30'
• Verifiable yacht sales experience: Must have verifiable annual yacht sales and/or yacht brokerage gross commissions of greater than $250,000 for each of the trailing 3 years
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Highly motivated and able to operate at a high level with little to any management oversight on a daily basis
• Knowledge of great loop and membership in one or more yacht broker membership organizations a plus
• Extensive knowledge of tugs, trawlers & luxury motor yachts required
